Pros

- great therapy team/coworkers - opportunities for a non-traditional work week (i.e. less than 5 days/week or less than 40 hrs/week) - large hospital with the opportunity to rotate/float to different units if you enjoy a variety of inpatient experiences - work/life balance of acute care - I rarely think about work when I'm not on the clock - productivity expectations are reasonable

Cons

- it can take a long time to change your schedule such as the days or hours you desire to work - paying for parking as an employee at First Hill Campus (currently $12/weekday, $5/weekend) - not many opportunities for career advancement/leadership beyond a clinical role - hourly pay for OT is not as competitive as PT despite comparable degrees (OTD vs DPT)
