Pros

Had opportunity to work with a number of highly intelligent people at Swedish Neuroscience Institute. Great opportunity to work with staff at all levels of the organization. Opportunities to work with patients as well.

Cons

At the time, lots of changes and difficulties with changing management/physicians and administrators fighting for control. Was also happening during the initial Providence/Swedish acquisition.

Pros

Swedish is an inspiring environment most days. The work is Innovative, a willingness to take risks, and day in/out you'll work with intelligent professionals

Cons

It's unavoidable given the current disruption in the healthcare market but it is not uncommon for key projects to stall. Many are abandoned for 'the next best thing' and not hardwired only to be revived in the future.

Cons

Constant turn over in department mangers. parking prices in first hill expensive.
