Absolutely love the department, and how it is run. One will always find people who are not happy about this or that but through my experience working at other places this place by far has the healthiest department vibe. The pay is good (as good as it can be with prices in WA). Health insurance is good along with dental and vision. Overall one of the best places to work in WA state and not get burnt out.

Cons

A completely pointless union and union dues. Union works for other campuses and leaves Edmonds like an ugly step child - out. The big question is why employees are paying union dues and get absolutely nothing in return. Disconnect between nursing and respiratory especially on the floors. Definitely not the worst RN/RT relationship work place but things could be better.

Can't beat the benefits that come with being a full time employee. Pay is average if not less than compared to other healthcare systems. Clinic managers seem to be flexible.

Cons

Management is usually unclear or not very helpful. Staff feels unsupported by their leads. Limited opportunities of growth within clinics.
