Providence-Swedish does not care about the unit staff- management is tone deaf and out of touch

It's the people I've worked with that made me stay with Providence-Swedish as long as I did- RNs, CNAs, PTs, RTs, etc.

Cons

Providence-Swedish is just greedy corporate who would rather value the upper management and not their employees. The hospitals are now filled with tons travel nurses (who could be a hit or a miss) due to staff leaving Providence-Swedish. This says a lot- a lot of the employees were not feeling valued. Management would rather cut down resources and add more things for the unit staff to do, while the tone-deaf management gets a big bonus from the money saved.
