Pros
Peer to peer support within nursing units at Swedish Cherry Hill campus, non-toxic work environment to work in. Communicating with providers about patient conditions are generally pleasant, with exception to a few negative experiences. RN residency prepared me to began my career as a nurse on a cardiac surgical telemetry unit.
Cons
Management stresses the importance of patient centered care with sacrifice to the workforce. Hiring travelling nurses to fill roles eats up the budget instead of hiring full time staff which is confusing to say the least. Maybe they weren't able to find full time staff that were willing to transfer to our unit? Maybe offer better incentives or pay??
