Pros
It is a big hospital system. Hospital system is owned by Providence. Both Swedish and Providence have multiple locations which is nice if you're not sure where you would like to settle down or are the kind of person who moves around a lot.
Cons
does not compensate employees and staff well. Every time a new contract is to be negotiated this company tries its hardest to undercut their staff and employees in order to line pockets of hospital administration and cut costs. For example just this year (2020) it took over a year to negotiate a new contract for Swedish/Providence employees. Frustrated employees were pushed to the point of having to go on a total strike. Thousands of employees picketed on the streets of Seattle in January of 2020 to fight against Swedish/Providence.
