Pros

The company is google like in the way they treat their employees and provide for their people. They truly are looking out for you and want you to succeed. As long as you communicate with management, there really shouldn't be anything that goes wrong. It is pretty hard to get fired, more likely you will leave on your own accord, if it ever gets to that, then get fired.

Cons

There are really only two things I can even remotely list as cons and that would be that time off is thin and sick days also count as vacation days... and you do not get many. The other would be the cost of insurance. It will not break any records for being cheap but there are ways to take extra tests to lower the cost per pay check.

Thanks for the positive review and kind words. We are currently conducting a survey of our employees to get their feelings on a number of topics, including our current benefits offerings. We constantly are striving to improve, so stayed tuned as we continue to evaluate the internal data we're receiving on this topic. Jeff McDonald, Senior VP of Human Resources

Pros

Discounts on Music Gear After 3 months.

Cons

Small company in a small town pretending to be a big corporation. At least 55 hours a week there in your first year. Judgmental atmosphere that rewards bad sales behaviors. Your managers/coaches who are telling you what to do HAVE NEVER EVEN DONE YOUR JOB. Zero mobility.

Thanks for your feedback. The Sales Engineer position is both challenging and rewarding for those who are truly passionate about helping customers make music and we are alwasy very transparent about this during our interview process. In addition, we've proudly promoted hundreds of team members across the company, so we'd respectfully disagree with a perspective that there is zero mobility within Sweetwater. Of course, in some cases we've hired new managers from outside Sweetwater when they can bring to the table years of experience in the music industry and an outstanding knowledge about our products and ability to serve customers well. Thanks again for the feedback. We'll leverage your perspective to help us keep getting better.

Thanks for the positive review. We are of course a retailer, so some of our positions here do involve working some weekends so we can service our great customers. We are always transparent about that during the interview process. Jeff McDonald, Senior VP of Human Resources
