Pros

I really enjoyed my time Sweetwater I met some awesome people, and if you strive and work hard you can advance. Supervisors and team leads will train you properly and show you the way. Sweetwater is one of the best jobs I ever had.

Cons

During certain seasons it's slow so you may not get many hours, but you aren't denied 40 hours per week, but you won't be getting overtime. The pay isn't bad, but if you're the provider for a family it's gonna be a rough time managing paying bills.

Thanks for the very positive review; we're glad you enjoyed your time here. To be clear, full time employees are occasionally given the option to leave early on a slow day, but it is totally voluntary and up to them. In our experience, the vast majority of our Distribution Center employees don't desire overtime on a regular basis, so we try to staff accordingly. Pros

Autonomy, potential for fast growth. You dictate how much you want to

Cons

Long hours are a must at the start if you wish to do well for yourself. The work can be grueling at the beginning and is relentless – if you don't disconnect from the job, it is all-encompassing. Effort and hours worked are loosely correlated to income in the beginning, at best. Earning an above average commission takes time and patience.

When explaining the job to any Sales Engineer candidates, we are extremely transparent that it is all about "building your own book of business" from the ground up. We do a tremendous amount of training (13 weeks of full time classroom training when a new Sales Engineer starts) and absolutely let people know it will be hard work and require both patience and perseverance. But we also then let them see how quickly they can achieve outstanding financial rewards. We think most Sales Engineers a year or two into the job are absolutely delighted with the fruits of their labor paying off. Jeff McDonald, Senior VP of Human Resources

Pros

Company has a lot of amentities such as being able to buy food from work, fitness center, and a music academy.

Cons

If working in warehouse I felt like it was a dead end job, not really much lateral career opportunities.
