Pros

Sweetwater has a solid foundation of company culture that makes work so much more enjoyable. The work life balance is solid, I haven't add any complaint in work life balance at all here. Managers are very open and understanding. With me being fresh out of college, I've received many opportunities for growth that I simply would not have received anywhere else. This is due to the large growth that is happening here. It can be exciting to get hands on with so many different areas, with a chance to "prove yourself".

Cons

While I view opportunities of growth as good, it also brings the con of that things are rapidly changing on a dime. If you don't like rapid change and iterations, then working here would be difficult. Another point to say is with all the rapid growth, comes with maintenance of of legacy code and systems. Although, this has rapidly been getting better as the company is striving to have more modern tech and code.

Pros

Sweetwater is an excellent place to work especially if you are just starting your career. The atmosphere is fast paced and you get to quickly learn and apply skills on the job as soon as you start. I can't speak for all the managers but the majority of management staff I've worked with like to be hands off as long as you prove you can do the work and are reliable. Besides the on-site amenities (Clinic, Salon, Gym, Cafeteria) we have a pretty involved HR team that has been making a lot of strides to provide other services that really help out in our day to day.

Cons

At the end of the day this comes down to what you are looking for in a job but the main one is compensation. The pay is generally at or slightly below the rest of the industry. If you want to make jumps in pay it generally requires you to make department leaps. Other than that the job is what you make it.

Pros

I've been here for several years and one of the most amazing parts about being in sales is the ability to be as successful as you want to be. I was in another career before here and within 2 years I was making double my salary because of hard work and grit. Sweetwater gives you the tools to succeed and if you continually do the right thing, and with integrity, you will be successful for sure. The constant growth and change is acually exciting to me. They have consistent training meetings to learn, amazing facilities and great health benefits as well.

Cons

I've seen a shift in the past few years of employee morale in some areas. As the company grows it is starting to feel more corporate and less of a family company vibe. I understand there has to be steps to take for change as it continues to grow. Late nights can get old with a family and also working weekends as well can be tough being away from kids events etc. The software often has issues and can disrupt work flow even while on the phone with a customer.
