Pros

You will learn basics of driving a truck.

Cons

Disorganized, chaotic, try to skimp you out of money on your check, demand alot out of you without giving a lot in return, inconsistent work means inconsistent money, lack of respect for drivers especially new ones

Pros

I was working with great people. Very friendly atmosphere. Good training program. I could always count on support when needed.

Cons

Sometimes too much emphasis on numbers like KPI or appearance. There is a lot of pressure from the corporate office on stuff that is not helping anyone but looks good on paper.

Pros

The money has risen to the point that it is acceptable. home terminal management is great except for DM who doesn't care about much. Staff in Phoenix are for the most part awesome. They have good safety and good equipment for the most part as well.

Cons

Vacation and home time policy. Sure, they give you vacation but you can only take 4 days at a time or you give up your company assigned truck. Same thing with home time. You are suppose to get 1 day per week out, but again, you cannot take more 3 or you turn in your truck. They say 4 but it is 3. The day you come in is a work day and doesn't count toward home time. Then you have 3 days home time and must leave out on the 4th morning so they are holding your vacation/home time over your head as hostage for keeping your truck. Their crash policy is outrageous! If you are driving in the terminal and barely dent/scratch a tail light......oops, that's a crash and it stays on your "record" for 3 years even though there is no police report and/or significant damage. They do have "tiers" of damage....God help you if you have any damage over what I described. They have a decent quarterly bonus, but any little thing will kick you out of their top status and you drop to a lower and less desirable level.
