      Pros

      Been there about a month, the training is really good. Maybe train a few more weeks and learning a lot.

      Cons

      The training pay sucks, running team and being paid sub standard wages.

      Pros

      Easy to get cdl, a lot of accounts, decent trucks&trailers, if you get a good DM and planner you win, mechanics and small hand of drivers are friendly, clean terminals

      Cons

      No home time, no detention pay, many planners are not friendly and act like there god. Ask to go home on holidays being told no and being sat in the truck stop for the holidays with no load, no pay, no miles, planners have favorites, if you are not teaming or mentoring you will not make money, reject load for any reason will be sat down for 1-2 days

      Pros

      There are many wonderful folks working at Swift. Great organizational structure. Many great terminals around the country. What I miss most are the great people in the company..

      Cons

      After 3 years at Swift, I broke my wrist working, during an oil change. They totally abandoned me,, took my truck and entire maintenance fund. A couple phone calls and a copied letter from the President cancelling my contract & I guess employment and worker compensation. My life savings are gone. Swift totally abandoned me when I got hurt. The Swift family,, Some Family. This is a Corporate Monster Company. Lie down with snakes,, don't be surprised you get bit. "Avoid this Company like the Plague"..
