Pros

will train anyone, good mostly new vehicles, looooots of work all over the place. pay is great after a few years.

Cons

if you're not on dedicated you could go anywhere, and sometimes there won't be loads back out for a while. pay sucks at the start. some Driver managers will screw you just to get a load out, it's up to you check viability. Knight-swift now. Will train and hire anyone, which means you are easily replaceable, don't mess up. they might run you till you mess up if you let them.

Lots of work, lots of divisions.

Cons

Everyone is over worked and has no time for the new guy. Orientation was about checking boxes to cya. No real training at all if you can drive the truck they send you out.

People are usually nice. Work doesn’t slow so you are always busy.

Cons

Like many companies it’s age, Swift is not an employee oriented culture. Mistakes are not treated as growing opportunities, even in your first few months on the job. Managers will not take the time to cater to your needs and will be bothered by your questions as they are overworked too. Expect your managers to be in meetings 50% of the work day.
