Pros

Benefits are great, they have a lot of services available to you such as a CDL Legal defender, financial issues, personal issues, and much more. They pay for the home depot and sears account suppose to be good i haven't made it to that point because the orientation process was horrible.

Cons

Disorganized, if you make it to your mentor your free from that horrible hotel they put you . They supply no transportation to gas stations, grocery stores etc. only to their swift facility. They don't seem to care about how they treat you. Not to many friendly people that will offer you a ride to stores at the Gary Terminal. I was lied to about the pay you will only make state min wage for the two days of orientation after 3 days of orientation you will be sent out with a mentor to train for a possible 6 weeks depending on you. My recruiter made it seem like i was going to be home the weekend she lied. She said the hotel had breakfast, i thought continental, wrong, more like a white doggy bag with a hard oak granola bar muffin and tiny orange juice. They pay for lunch thats the decent meal you will get. Stay away from this company, don't consider it its horrible you will get lied to just so they get you down to the terminal. When its to good to be true you will know. All i can say to each its own.

Pros

Large enough to get decent weekly miles . Road tractors are generally later models. Although since turnover is high( most people get 6 months and move on to something better) most of the trucks smell of smoke and other unpleasant smells that the shop won't bother trying to remove. If you're a non smoker good luck getting a truck that doesn't smell of smoke

Cons

You will only be paid for about 80 - 85 percent of the miles you drove. Also the starting pay had been .25 a mile and you get a few raises over a year to be at .32 cpm. After that raises are yearly and to out @ . 38 cpm after 5 years. The trailers take a lot of abuse and you will defiantly be getting repairs made to them about every 3 months. Mainly the pins in the trailer tandoms . Also you will only be getting home about once a month. 3 weeks out with a weekend home.
