Symbotic reviews

This place is pretty screwed up. they go on a hiring binge for over a year. Then someone panics and decides we need to layoff 150 people. they don't know how to use staffing/forecasting tools. Project priorities change every week. Resources (people) are jerked around to which ever customer is complaining this week. Just a guess, but my business sense is telling me they are getting ready to sell the company. Think along the lines of Amazon bought Kiva for their robotics. Now think of the next biggest retailer and why they would want Symbotic robotics. Those project s were the only ones getting resources and anyone not working on those projects got the ax. The company spread itself way too thinly and started too many projects with the resources to support them. Don't work here!!

Long hours. There is 168 hours in your week and they think they own them all. Do not ask if you can work overtime. They tell. Very high turnover especially management positions which makes everyone uneasy. Can be fired at any minute. Firings happen constantly. Toxic environment. HR is not in employees corner. Upper management makes quick and irrational decisions.
