Salary was decent but business processes archaic

Cons

This company has eliminated so many long standing employees and replaced them with recent community college graduates. Management is unethical.

Pros

Very friendly and helpful co-workers. Fun environment to spend your working day around. People always seem to have a smile on their faces, no matter the weather. Always encouraged to look after your personal health, regardless of the current work situation.

Cons

Has a big ramp up time in education for the position I took. This can be frustrating if you wanted to hit the ground running and write code on day 1.

Pros

Long-term, established company. Good Leadership. Growth opportunities. Quarterly all-employee meetings where you can learn current information and future plans and direction of the company. Overall, I worked with a great team. Loved relationship building with Employers, TPAs, Agents.

Cons

Heavy workload, renewal and new business times 4th quarter & 2nd quarter can be challenging. True of all insurance industry positions. Must find ways to keep the work dynamic and avoid burn out from repetition.
