Training was not really structured. No plan from day to day, just kind of winging it.

We are proud to offer employees flexibility in when and where they work. We recognize the importance of a structured onboarding and training program and are actively working on this for new hires starting with one department, but plan to use this work as a blueprint to extend to other areas in the future.

The Symetra STD organization really prides itself on being an employer of choice in our industry. We intentionally maintain much lower than industry average case loads for pending and open claims to create more work life balance.
