Pros

I find that Synack, first and foremost, dedicates themselves to providing a healthy work environment for their employees. Managers are always available to listen and they provide encouraging feedback to produce a positive open stream of communication. The desire for innovative and forward thinking solutions is another reason Synack is a desirable company to work for. Their drive to be the best in the industry is something they take a lot of pride in. The positivity to go further makes it a excellent company to grow with.

Cons

With any remote position it is often difficult to arrange a time to meet in person. I don't find that as a negative but more or less the shift to remote work. Synack supplies the tools and ability to work from home easy so I wouldn't consider it a con but more or less the state of work environments as a whole. Synack offers times to connect with our teams in person as much as possible. That is much appreciated.

Make no mistake, this place doesn't care about you. 90% of the positive reviews come from new employees who are pushed to give reviews when they start. This company laid off its employees in January 2023 (Happy new year all) and then proceeded to take the remaining workforce on an all inclusive resort trip. This should show you how much they care about you. Turnover rate is still high here I would avoid while you can.

I am writing this, a) because its true and b) in response to a very critical review of my former employer that did not sit well. The review references some turnover including an RVP, me. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and here is mine. I just wrapped five enjoyable & lucrative years at Synack. I moved to a new opportunity as people do from time to time and I did that w/ some trepidation but with pride and a smile, knowing that I had worked with the best of the best, that’s a gift. There has never been a more exciting time in this space and Synack is the best crowdsourced PT platform in the market and a dynamite place to work and thrive.
