Pros

Possibility of bonus, fun co-workers, spiffs, OT offered often, tuition reimbursement, 401K, adoption assistance, relaxed dress code. Culture was good and SENIOR management/leaders are superb, diversity networks really care.

Cons

Some of the managers are awful and make you feel like you are a POS even if you are a top performer, metrics can someone be unattainable, even to be considered average. Especially with contacts/hour. For the most part it is entirely out of the employees hands how many contacts they get since the dialer connects the calls. It’d be best to create a metric that is based on call handle time/wrap up instead. Training is not the best and to be truly successful, you have to be a go-getter with the attitude and desire to learn alone

Pros

Nice health insurance and wellness benefits Good for a college-aged individual to do homework at work but (don't expect tuition reimbursement to be approved it's a lie)

Cons

You are off in your cubicle on your own little island, not very many resources or team meetings discussing business. Tuition reimbursement is a lie. They advertise that they offer tuition reimbursement as long as the degree major has something to do with your current position OR future positions. HR denied my tuition reimbursement claim because my major was Criminology and I worked in the fraud department... I explained my issue to HR and they said "Even though criminology is related to fraud and that is what we advertise, it is a broadened term across synchrony financial sites and each site has it's different terms. The only meetings that we ever had was about "Great Place to Work" survey, that's all they care about.

Broken. Miss management at it's finest without empathy.

Pros

Good benefits, good hours, the catered in lunches are tasty. Regional sales conferences have plenty of drinking and after hour activities.

Cons

After being here for over 2 years I had seen the beginning, and the end of a great team. Leadership inside of CareCredit (PDS) is horrendous. The department is struggling trying to find it's sales identity. A failing QA process leads to frustrated employees, and unnecessary pressures of calls and talk time "production". The management team has yet to align itself with proper strategy, and execution to make money, and be a great place to work for it's employees. The leaders will beat you into submission or make you leave on your own accord. Being on this inside sales team in Synchrony comes with career killing consequences of personal branding. BUT THEY ARE ABLE to change for the better of their team!! Just unwilling, and that is why I no longer work here. This job is the highest paid outbound customer service role you can find.
