Pros

The coffee actually got better over the years

Cons

- Pay is below average - Expectations are very high - It's more like 10 terribly integrated companies - Your job is meaningless and worthless to society - Lots of empty corporate talk that you’re forced to endure and fake culture-building activities - The official mantra for normal employees is “customer value,” while the C-Suite is working towards their bonuses What you’re ultimately working towards: - Enriching multiple Private Equity firms - Bonus payouts for the C-Suite (employees do not meaningfully participate)

Pros

Most employees are fully remote which promotes great work life balance. Expectations on how to be successful are clear.

Cons

The pay is lower than other dev jobs. Because it is fully remote, you don’t get to know your coworkers well. This could be a pro or a con depending on your preferences. Your job is working to further consumerism.
