Pros
Coworkers at a individual contributor level are awesome. There is a “we are all in this together” vibe which leads to collaboration. If you are under the right leadership you can move up as there are a decent amount of exits and roles open up. They have the chance to be the market leader if they are able to make the right moves.
Cons
Leadership at top is poor. No accountability for people leaving. VPs and above are not helpful and feel like they are above helping others out. Pay isn’t great and despite what others say here the benefits aren’t great. Insurance is expensive especially with dependents. Lots of turnover as people are finding companies with better comp packages. Will likely not hit goals / bonuses. If in any part of the business other than commercial you are a second class citizen. Sales has outings and retreats while other parts of the business can’t even put together monthly calls. Leadership is loaded with sales VPs who are outside hires who do not know the industry.
