Pros
I've worked for the company for a cumulative 3+ years, originally hired by Edgenet prior to the acquisition. My prior career experience was with a more corporate (Fortune 500) company, so coming to this environment was a breath of fresh air. I was able to be creative, not feel like a cog, and quickly grow. The atmosphere feels fun, collaborative, creative, and unique. I know this is typical within technology and Software environments but has felt special to me in comparison with my own experience. I disagree that there are no growth opportunities. I've personally seen MANY that have worked hard, had a positive attitude, offered solutions (opposed to whining) be able to grow, and grow quickly. Perhaps this is more of a departmental issue, but it hasn't been my experience. One of my biggest Pro's is the people. I work with a talented, funny, creative crew and there’s no shortage of fun.
Cons
I was honestly a bit caught off guard by some of the reviews here. The root of others frustration seems to be the company culture of the previous owners to a more structured expanded company with the recent acquisitions. The back-to-back acquisitions have made it very difficult, especially for those working in Product, Finance, Salesforce, and Account Management, but it seems to be progressing. The other con - there is disparity in the ways various departments are managed, more work/life balance and flexibility than others.
