Work in a great group in a subpar company
Pros
Proposals group is great. Supportive leadership and management. Constant change to better the department. Training on new processes before they roll out. One of the best groups I’ve ever worked in. The two stars are for them. If I could rate the group 5 and the company 0 I would.
Cons
Executive leadership is HORRIBLE at communicating. Since the merger our benefits have gone down the drain. High deductible health insurance is crazy expensive. At the beginning of COVID they decided to postpone promotions and merit raises globally. These have still not occurred this year and there is no plan or communication to do so. 401k employee contributions were “suspended” in April for US employees only. We still don’t have them back and yet again no communication on when they plan to reimplement them. They have pushed for new business so we are working our tails off but the benefits and merit raises certainly don’t show that the company appreciates any of the hard work.
