If you are interviewing for this company RUN! I came on board through the Ansys acquisition and Synopsys has continuously ruined every good thing that existed at Ansys. Senior leadership has horrific communication skills, they have no long term vision, and they consistently say one thing and do another. All of this on top of layoffs, creates the most miserable work environment full if uncertainty and anxiety.

1. Compensation is very bad 2. Layoffs after Ansys Aquisition and bad performance of the company. 3. If Company performs bad your hike cycle gets extended by 6 months and variable pay is reduce to 40-60%. If Company make good Profit nothing is shared with the employees. 4. Project bonus is not given , looks like all the manager and lead eats all, engineers are not given anything.. if lucky amazon coupon will be given. 5. Favouritism works here ( in few teams all managers are telugu and they prefer only telugu guy to join).
