      Pros

      There are many challenges and technique to learn from Synopsys. The managements are nice to give a space for our work.

      Cons

      The document need be improved such that new hire and RD assigned new field's project can catch up early.

      smart people, good processes, good compensation, many opportunities, exciting field, mostly good managers.

      Cons

      the research and quality culture is in slow decay. entrenched management. politics impede progress. complacency on the rise. young people see better prospects outside EDA. the know-how is locked in the minds of small number of mature people. with each departure, signifficant loss of value. technology is beyond mature. mostly incremental improvements, except for the courages move with ICC2.
