Pros
Decent people who are polite and for the most part friendly. There is enough to keep busy. Not always micromanaged. Work/Life balance is good. Some technical challenges. Community volunteer work.
Cons
Not a place to advance a career. Growth opportunities; limited. Challenging work; limited. Cross-training; limited. Salary increases; limited. Information seems to be guarded so you are on your own especially if you are part of an acquisition. CFO doesn't seem to value IT. Change is not accepted easily. There seems to be a family connection all over the place. The best work is for the favored not necessarily the best.
