Pros
Work can be very interesting and challenging. Salary is not that bad, good medical insurance and good end-of-year bonus. If you have the proper personality and stand up for yourself, work-life balance is pretty good.
Cons
Salary or promotions are not necessarily tied to performance. Promotions are almost nonexistent, and unfortunately, real salary increases are tied to them. Management is pure and simple BS, reduced to repeating obvious speech from the "how to be manager" books, but with ZERO capacity of leadership. Also, criticism is completely discouraged, in very bad terms, plus Chilean office and employees are always seen as secondary to USA, meaning their opinions are always belittled in favor of the ones coming from the corporate, no matter how wrong could those be.
