      Pros

      Pays better than most other companies in the valley. Benefits are very good. Stock has been doing well. Largest of the EDA companies - good financial health.

      Cons

      Significant competition in middle management - can be ruthless & back stabbing. Very little room for growth - industry is stagnant.

      Pros

      Smart co-workers. Reasonable benefits. Stable job in general with good working hours. Complex field and quite a bit to learn all the time, if one is up to it.

      Cons

      Company is in a slow growth part of the software world. Reasonable benefits, but not comparable to the Internet software companies. Not much motivation in the workforce, and company is driven by the hard work of 10-20% of the people - much like it is in many other companies.
