      Pros

      Very stable, Lot's of opportunities to grow, customers are treated very well. Values and ethics of the leadership are unquestionable. Leadership with a technical background is perfect for a tech company. Career growth is possible with the right initiative.

      Cons

      Culture of too many meetings and e-mails: engineering works gets compromised. "Difficult" customers are tolerated. Sometimes leadership is too conservative. Lay offs on good times also.

      Stable company, leaders in the EDA space. Solid benefits and compensation.

      Cons

      Nobody really knows who Synopsys is and what they really do except for those directly involved in the EDS industry. No opportunity for upward career path growth outside the R&D/Engineering teams.
