      Uninspiring opportunities and business philosophy

      Pros

      Safe. A good place to wait for retirement. Core business is growing at 3% and very predictable with the 3 year lease model

      Cons

      Growth is predominately by acquisition, which leaves little opportunity for career growth. Most of the people I worked with were B and C players: the A players had moved on to more exciting opportunities. Most upper management had been in the same position for more than a decade. There were a lot of silos in the back-office support..

      Pros

      Good initial salary, bonus, benefits, vacation Evolving technology Well respected company Supportive colleagues to commiserate with to help each other to get through the day.

      Cons

      Salary freezes, bonuses paid according to cronyism; 24/7 workload expected Middle managers who are out for themselves only! One on ones are a joke, as managers don't want to hear your questions or feedback, they just want to load on more assignments. Employees never hear praise or appreciation - only hear about when something is wrong. There are a lot of two faced people there - especially in middle management.
