      Pros

      Pay is not like a typical Tech company. Pay is on conservative side. Was an employee of Ansys before acquisition. Job was stable that was the upside. Also, Ansys gave opportunity for Mechanical Engineers like me to work as a developer without having a strong CS background.

      Cons

      The future at Synopsys after acquisition looks shaky. There is no job security anymore.

      Work life balance and nice brand new office building

      Cons

      Too many incompetent management levels and a few good R &D engineers to do the real work. There are many clueless "PHY R&D Group Directores who relied on the first line non-technical managers with false reports.

      Pros

      Now Blackduck , as they move out of Synopsys: Good place to work. Great starting point where to learn a lot. You will get familiar with different pentesting methologies Great team who helps you everywhere and you can learn a lot Great place to start you carrer. Get to work on different client engagements

      Cons

      Since you are confined to time based assessments example a week for whole assessment including scoping to testing credentials, sometimes for larger application time is enough and you are basically doing a checklist. Hence scope for deeper testing gets limited.
