      Pros

      The only pros post-acquisition were applicable if you were in Sales, which received all the attention at the expense of other departments.

      Cons

      Non-sales departments were neglected and nepotism led to poor managers in their positions for long periods of time.

      Good stability Good benefits Easy commute Good work/life balance

      Cons

      You won't learn anything if you're looking to advance your career. Most people are here to coast through retirement - average age of the folks being 45+. Limited to no career growth. Old school / conservative way of doing things, mired in processes, bureaucracy and politics.

      Cons

      Growth by acquisition business model limits career opportunities for existing employees. Management has no interest in developing new products or their employees. It is not a good place for ambitious people.
