Pros

I have worked in the same office since my freshman year of college here at Syracuse University. I am now almost 1 year graduated and my bosses have been kind enough to hire me on as a temp during this transition time of trying to find a job within my degree. My superiors were always understanding to my needs when I was working as a student; although I am no longer a student, they are flexible, understanding, and a pleasure to work with.

Cons

While working as a temp, I do not receive any benefits. Other than that, I am very grateful to be working this job because the pay is very good, especially when compared to the same type of job working somewhere else.

The benefits are good. Work is not very demanding and allows for a good balance of work and life. There is opportunity to grow.

Cons

The pay is not that great. It can be difficult to get time off. There are stubborn people that you need to deal with.
