      Pros

      Excellent Freedom. Pay was good once.

      Cons

      Used to be sales. They want you to be a "Designer". Pricing is absurd. They will take your commission anyway they can.

We are taking this step by step and teaching this at a level that a sales person can deliver. We are focused on providing training so our sales consultants will stand out and separate us from our competitors. We understand that some of our sales professionals may not be ready for this transition or want to stay. Ultimately, the company is making changes that are good for our customers and are good for our sales professionals who can sell gorgeous fully designed projects.       Great work environment, with great people that work there. Not stuck in an office all the time. Good benefits

      Ragging out your car with crazy miles driven. Lack of design training. Odd working schedule.

      The experience was ok until management changed and an inexperienced manager gained power with no supervision.

      Pros

      There was an ability to make quite a bit of money if you worked the right fair or got the right leads. You get to talk to many people that you probably wouldn't be able to talk to in a normal job. You can gain experience in sales of a difficult product and covering the negatives and adding glitz and glam to the positives.

      Cons

      The company is WAY overpriced and many people you talk to know this. Management is given an unsupervised iron control of employees. Current management doesn't do any research on property value or renter to owner ratio or anything that will allow the team to be successful in the long run. Manager routinely "lost" payback receipts for gas to homeshows, paid lunch, etc. A huge disconnect between higher management and direct supervisors as in no way to handle problems above the direct manager's head when situations are getting out of hand. Managers get zero management training and are just thrown into the mix to muddle their way through despite negative attitudes.
