Pros

Good benefits (Some say the best, not true) Mostly great co-workers Takes care of their military employees Compensation seems slightly above average for an initial salary No real separate sick leave If you work on site you get your own office Business outlook for the most part is great in the near-term Current president and original president are excellent

Cons

Not much room for technical employees to grow (Not a con for prior military) Raises are very slight Your experience is very dependent on the Division/Group you are in, some are far better than others

Great, intelligent employees who really support each other

Pros

As an intern, you don't expect to do much. However, I was given a project to do immediately that most definitely was not busy work - and my input on the project was valued. Great experience.

Cons

It depends on which branch you are placed in - some branch heads are more strict and intimidating than others. However, that's just the way they are. In reality they just want to see you succeed while also helping out S.P.A.
