      Pros

      I worked at TK maxx Bletchley for 2 years nearly before I had to leave to go to university. I loved the job because all my managers were so helpful and happy and really allowed me to have a relaxed and productive time working there. They were understanding about how I was in college and I had to walk to work after so they worked around my time frame which I appreciated so when it came to doing more hours I was happy to do so 99% of the time.

      Sometimes gave too many hours to students when it came to exam weeks or deadlines when we would say in advance

      Pros

      Lots of opportunity for career progression, everyone in my store gets on well, works well as a team

      Cons

      No flexibility to work different hours I have been doing Lates since I started. You barely ever get out on time there have been times I'm meant to finish at 9 but I've stayed until 11 because the department isn't finished. Overtime is cut off half way during the month and it's sometimes confusing to tell whether you've been paid the correct amount or not. I mainly only ever get asked to do additional hours when I'm back at university and I constantly get harassed by other managers to work and when I say I can't they won't accept no as an answer and will try and pressure me to come in. Change your hours without asking and put you down for extra days without confirming with you first.

      Pros

      Flexible hours, great pay, amazing managers and I love my fellow associates. I just really enjoy my job so much.

      Cons

      It can be stressful but so can everywhere, it does test your patience but it means I now can endure things longer.
