Pros

Easy work, casual work wear, pretty decent commission structure on top of a good hourly rate. Can make a lot of money if you work in a high traffic store that isn't overstaffed. Great benefits package even for part time employees; 401K, health, dental, etc. The amount of paid time off is generous as well.

Cons

A good chunk of your pay is from commission. That can fluctuate depending on market conditions, store traffic, and how many employees you have to split customers up among. T-Mobile is currently trying to find ways to reduce commission payout as well. It's retail so your schedule follows no pattern. T-Mobile also seems to attract a large number minorities that may or may not speak English, as well as super cheap and rude customers that you get to deal with in the store. If you are a male you will have to be very knowledgeable to get even close to making the same sales numbers as a semi-cute little girl who knows just a little and bats the eyes, sorry men but that is just how the world of retail sales works. Pathway to management is reserved for friends of managers and shady sales reps that get above average numbers from unethical practices.

Pros

If you love forecast and planning work, TMO FP&A is perfect for you

Cons

If project-based analysis is your thing, TMO FP&A has almost no positions that will interest you; under current leadership, the team has evolved to nearly 100% forecasting and planning. For decision support type roles, you'll need to find a job outside of finance.

Pros

excellent benefits, extensive PTO, great training, upward mobility, talent is properly scouted, flexible work schedule, fair commission structure, top performance in rewarded.

Cons

In need of low band spectrum to compete with the giants; ATT and Verizon. Working weekends since it is retail, blackout dates around holidays and certain times of the year.
