Pros

-- Cutting edge tel-comm leader with solid product and award-winning service! -- Good enough base pay -- No cap on commissions -- Regular schedule (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Monday through Friday) -- Awesome benefits (really inexpensive health, dental, vision, life, and a HRA that the company puts $1,500 in for you) -- Plenty of personal paid-time-off and holidays (23 days a year right from the start!) -- Company cafeteria, gym, billiards room, even a meditation room

Cons

-- Sales performance metrics are seriously out-dated -- like 1990's out-dated -- The office environment can get a little (maybe a lot!) crazy at times! -- While the training is phenomenal, ongoing sales coaching doesn't really happen -- you better be motivated because no one's going to hold you hand for too long -- Some of the local leaders aren't really up to the task -- nice people in the wrong seat on the bus -- Company is slow to fire non-productive salespeople -- even at that, though, a lot of the deadwood can still make quota. -- While you "own" your accounts, anyone, anywhere in the country can sell to them. You might invest a lot of time and persuasion into an account, then they can just walk into their local TMO store and get what you've been selling them. You don't make a dime when this happens. -- Not a job for babies or wimps.

Pros

Flexible working environment as you are supposed to be in the field making sales. Benefits are amazing and the CEO really wants to change the industry

Cons

With any sales organization it can be stressful to maintain your numbers. Overcoming the perception that coverage is poor is the biggest challenge when trying to sell to companies

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

In almost 35 years of working in IT and Application Development I have never experienced an organization with the resource overheads they have at T Mobile. I would estimate projects cost at least 50% and maybe as much as 90% more than they should do, simply because of the number of personnel who are dog piled onto them because they have nothing else or better to do. OK if you are one of those resources who spends 10% of your time on a project and charges 100% of your time but not so good if you are a PM trying to control costs.
