Pros

Friendly people. Product Management contractors are top notch. Free phone giveaways at events. CEO. Amazing growth. Great marketing with long term growth potential. Upward mobility.

Cons

Middle management is useless and takes credit for ideas that come from subordinates. Too many layers. Strategy is nonexistent and is more akin to throwing darts at a dartboard (at least from my perspective). Leaders are use to high turnover (given the Seattle competition for talent) and working with contractors to scale, as a result on boarding is nonexistent, leaders don't know how to lead or set strategy. Reliance on reliance on consulting firms for direction hides managements inability to grow the business.

Pros

Great products to offer the SMB space- prices are very competitive - Benefits are very good Great group of people to work with- in general

Cons

T-Mobile has not set up a system which allows the retail space to be required to hand over SMB to corporate- one is competing with the retail stores.- @work AE's compete with the call center as well- T-Mobile does not do enough to promote @work as a separate unit- tries to combine this with the retail space- Lead generation is on you- T-Mobile makes no investment into generating leads for sales persons- you end up pounding the pavement and cold calling leads you hope will close eventually- The role of AE for @work is more of an entry level role for a younger person with a few years of experience in sales. Training is terrible- you are on your own-very basic for the more experienced sales person

Pros

The people I worked with were great! My commute was great, close to my home, parking was free and easy to find and the facilities were nice. Felt good about a stable company as a contractor and then..... The bottom fell out.

Cons

The company decided they needed to make the contractors remember they were not employees. They moved my team from Bothell to Factoria increasing my commute by an hour. They took away our desks and stacked on top of each other on a floor where we sat shoulder to shoulder. It was open so really loud. They then took away contractor parking on campus and made us park in lots in Bellevue with shuttles. They then reduced the number of shuttles so it took around 40 minutes to get from the parking lot to the campus. Management increased the amount of time to turn deliverables and marketing would launch a new product without telling the back end support teams and we had to change the retail rep and customer service software and interfaces in a couple of weeks to catch up to marketing. By the time we were close to getting a handle on the new features, they would launch another product in the market. I hated watching the commercials because I knew each new one was going to create a nightmare.
