Pros

PTO. No other pros at all.

Cons

Managers and coaches micromanage but do not assist experts. Coaches engage in gossip like in middle school. Favoritism throughout the entire center. Leadership does not care about quality and well being of customers and pushes sales even if employees have to lie. A lot of shady activities within the center including employees being promoted based off favoritism and personal/sexual relationships. Stats are pushed over training. Stats are pushed so hard that experts and coaches are engaging in immoral and illegal business practices. Training needs major improvement. Discrimination happens often as well

Pros

The only notable positive is the opportunity to work with a modern tech stack. If you’re looking to stay updated with the latest tools and frameworks, this might be a short-term benefit.

Cons

There are some serious process gaps in the T-Life application development team. Currently, there’s no proper SDLC in place, no sprint planning, no structured process. Work often starts based on ad-hoc discussions during meetings. Additionally, there’s a clear imbalance in how offshore teams are treated, often being overloaded and undervalued. Work-life balance is nearly non-existent. Weekend work has become the norm, with little regard for personal time or well-being.

Pros

Only one thing comes to mind - it's the regular folks who work there. They are fine, professional and friendly (probably up to the Director level, with some exceptions on VPs as well). I did learn a few things here and there as well, which is good.

Cons

I ended up in a team with a toxic manager who also a typical yes-man, hence my experience was pretty negative. I was expected to be up and running in team's pace in less that a month w/o any training or onboarding whatsoever. Contrary to the popular belief, the WLB here sucked, and I spend numerous sleepless nights because of the manager demanding things to be done urgently so that this person would look good in the eyes of the skip manager and other higher ranks. The last straw for me was attempt to put me on PIP after (!) I gave my 2-week notice, which says a lot about this person and a culture of the company in general, that allows and even encourages this type of behavior.
