Pros

The job is very easy and the pay is great as long as you are in what is called an "A Market". With prior experience and good negotiation skills, a manager can earn up to 80k a year at a store that does quality commission worthy numbers.

Cons

T-Mobile is awful at helping people get to the next promotion level. They have "Career Development Programs" that are designed to make people work harder and feel as if they will soon be rewarded, but internal discussions from from upper management have actually stated that these programs are there to make people feel as if upper management cares and promotes from within, but the parent company initiative of Deustche Telekom is to hunt for outside talent.

Pros

Excellent benefits: Health and dental plan Personal registered nurse in case you have have health issues Health and Daycare Flexible Spending (they give you $2,500 towards daycare) Tuition reimbursement and much more

Cons

Moving up in management is nearly impossible. In this market they are hiring outside of the company for management instead of promoting within to qualified employees. Pretty much if you've ever worked for Circuit City and have no knowledge about the company and how it works you can come apply for a management position and get it... My store management expected you to never get sick. If you had the flu, pneumonia, etc they don't care they want you at the store, and if not then you're getting written up (unless you are from Circuit City then your actions are unblemished) This company has done a 180 from 8 years ago, and it's not for the better but it is becoming the destruction of the company. I have friends who work country wide within the company and they all say the same thing. EVERYONE IS UNSATISFIED AND HATES THEIR JOBS!!! This is sad, because if anyone was Pro-TMobile and was one of their biggest advocater it was me. I am now looking for other ventures and the people I know are actually heart broken and in awe because no one expected my heart to turn cold to T-Mobile. However because of management, ever changing policies, and much more I have no more love for T-Mobile. I am literally counting down the days til I know longer work for this company. This is not the T-Mobile that won the best place to work rewards. This is not the T-Mobile I knew and love. This is a different company masked with T-Mobile's name....

Pros

Benefits, cheap phone (even though the phone choices are shoddy)

Cons

Lack of concern for employee. They will find ways to cut your pay, yet, blame you for not having incentive.
