Pros

Exciting projects with a young and diverse (by central PA standards) workforce. Lately, company leadership has taken an interest in employees which has shown huge results in both morale and quality of output.

Cons

Most employees in this industry would prefer to live near a major metropolitan area, but company headquarters is in Amish country Pennsylvania. Satellite offices in more desirable locations exist, but rarely hire or allow transfers. Until early 2017, every time a leadership position was open, someone external without experience in the company was brought in, and it was usually a disaster. Employees felt like they didn't have opportunity for growth and many of these external leaders were awful. Not true in the last year+, hopefully doesn't happen again.

Pros

Great place to learn and design a lot of different and unique touring equipment. The availability to learn is up to the employee. Exposure to mechanical design, manufacturing process and fabrication is very valuable.

Cons

Salary is not competitive for the hours and responsibility you are given. There is no work - life balance. Reward for hard work is a company picnic hear and there. Everyone is disposable.

Thank you for your feedback. I am happy to hear that you found TAIT to be a great place to learn and design. The diversity of skill sets among the employees is equally inspiring. As TAIT continues to grow and expand into new markets, recognition of employee feedback is important to ensure we have a strong team of best-in-class employees. If you have any other suggestions, I would be happy to discuss. Thank You, Mia
