      Once great, now just Okay

      Pros

      Somewhat flexible on hours, decent money with some nice rewards programs from phone manufacturers.

      Cons

      No feedback or coaching when needed, often surprise firings or demotions. Was once a very family friendly company, now trying to emulate Verizon corporate. Many locations getting cameras with voice recording to "monitor traffic patterns," really to watch employees and critique sales processes. Pay structure is weird and not really reflective of performance, you often have to work through lunch in order to not get penalized.

      Pros

      Compensation. Employee Benefits. Very good training.. This is a place to learn how to sell. I have seen a lot of people on here complaining about impossible goals, and bad compensation. Just do your job! You would be surprised the amount of money to be made by just hitting "core values." This has been a great place to work, that has taught me selling techniques I can use in any business should I ever leave.

      Cons

      Hours are long. Some operational jobs can be very tedious. Hard to take a vacation do to small staffed stores.

      discount on verizon wireless service

      Cons

      very misleading, they make false promises about potential earnings and growth to lure you in. Truth is, if you get a job at a very busy store you will make more than a dead store, they will always blame you personally for numbers even if you get hired at a store that has done poorly for years. Even as a store manager you do not make much more than a regular employee.
