Innovative, Family Friendly, Community Focused Company
Pros
Its so great to work for a company where leadership sees the value in an employee's total person, not just in their daily output. TCDI has been great in these last few months of Covid-19 and civil unrest in supporting employees, their friends and families and our local communities. Always supportive of employees and the work/life balance, it's been great to see us extend our community involvement from our military spouse program into anti-poverty, anti-racist and anti-discrimation campaigns as well. The TCDI employee community has responded aggressively and it's great to see the impact we are now making with our clients and in our larger legal and civic communities. It was also a great relief during Covid to already be setup and working remotely (for 3 years) and not to have to scramble to meet client security parameters as we already had this in working condition. This forethought, to set everyone up remotely and create workstream and security settings allowing remote work, definitely gave us a leg up against our competitors.
Cons
There is a lot of company growth and so many moving parts that sometimes I can feel 'out of the loop'. Not a huge con but as a remote employee, it happens more than I'd like.
