Pros

You will become very familiar with banking terminology, learn how to interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner, and the training is very good

Cons

After working here for four years I saw a big decline in quality. The focus used to be on service but, since profit margins are "more important", workload increased while pay remained the same. Customers were not given the same level of service because branches cut back on employees and aspects that used to be handled by very knowledgeable, separate departments were handed to branch level employees who would undergo a few hours of training (vs those in the previous department who had YEARS of training and expertise).
