Pros

They make a solid effort at sales training. Several non-consecutive weeks of very good quality training at company headquarters. Compensation would be quite good, if they had a reasonable product to sell. Benefits were very good.

Cons

Outdated products and services Non-competitive pricing NO LEADS - All cold calling TERRIBLE CRM system: corrupt or no data/little to no history of who called on who. Multiple profiles for one company so rep can lay claim to "new account." No controls. No advertising/marketing. High pressure management: all threats, no support. Reducing customer service and technical staff: again, no support

Pros

They are a large company with good medical, vacation, and 401k.

Cons

They are too concerned with profit over quality, and that might bite them in the long run. Employee performance and customer satisfaction are not a priorit, everything is based on our of touch numbers/metrics.

Pros

Good 401k, good medical/dental, overall company is decent however this is not a company to grow in as it is landline telephones and old dsl internet which is hard to sell due to cable being much faster and less expensive. The company is trying to stay afloat more than trying to grow.

Cons

Unethical Management, Takes 15 minutes to log into systems in the morning, so either you arrive 15 minutes early or you are late. Managers are in the old school landline days. I have heard bad stories of business management staff bullying team members and forcing employees to quit. Very "clicky environment" You are either friends with management or you are an outsider. Promotions usually only happen if you are in good with management. Lots of qualified candidates get passed over for friends of management. The company in general is decent, HR staff is friendly and professional, benefits are good. The people who work at TDS generally care about other employees. The bad part of this company is the management of front line sales, customer service, and billing.
