      Frustrating, unappreciated, Upper Management has no respect for long time employees.

      Pros

      Benefits are OK. Vacation time off isn't bad.

      Cons

      Vastly understaffed Advancement is Difficult - Hiring only from outside TE for management positions. No respect or loyalty to long term employees. Upper Management has no idea what those below them, Engineers etc., do and therefore have no respect for their work. Extremely regimented - taped off areas on desk where pens & pencils can be placed. Restricted as to where you set down your lunch bag.

      Pros

      Pay was on par/ better than peer employers. Good benefits (generous vacation - 2 weeks start, and increases with years of service), 10 paid holidays, profit sharing for all employees - not just management (during the aprox 3 years there, I received quarterly bonuses based on company goals) my managers were flexible with scheduling for personal needs (children's events, daycare). People were nice.

      Cons

      was there at a time of change, and position was moved back east to corporate office. Was kept on in temporary capacity doing work in other areas until I found something else. When I was notified I was being laid off, was told couple months before it was suppose to happen (so it was not a surprise).

      Constant threat of layoff, Corporate speak with no action very frustrating

      Pros

      Good people, decent pay & benefits, work-life balance ok.

      Cons

      Employees work under constant threat of layoff. Management insensitive with corporate communications. A lot of corporate speak about employee engagement and fixing identified problems, but no action to back it up.
