      Huge company. Can transfer from one business to order if needed. Presence around the globe. Deals with a lots of industries

      -Mangement is not in touch with whats going on in some markets. Every segment is treated like a money making machine for the short term

      Pros

      Flexible working environment, most people around are nice and pleasant. Pay is OK. If you are looking for improving your competency in managing ambiguity. This is the company you should join.

      Cons

      The HR organization is unbelievably incompentent in Tyco Electronics, no matter globally or in China. The CEO Tom Lynch seems not have realize that if the HR organization is not undergoing significant restructure, there is notway for the company to move to the next level when HR organization is left far behind. Many people are superised and shocked by seeing the dummiest and fake HR leadersstanding up there presenting totally non-value and meanless information. Some of them can not even talk logically.

      Pros

      A growing company which should be full of opportunities for the employees to grow and develop.

      Cons

      The corporation did not seem to have a strong corporate culture. Some departments may act very unprofessionally which greatly discourages the loyalty and commitment from the employees. HR department is the weakest link of all. There are a large amount of disqualified middle management group which prevents the company from being good to excellent.
