Pros

As an independent consultant, you enjoy the freedom to execute your tasks without the bureaucratic hurdles and obstacles typically found in corporate environments. You're not confined to specific territories or industry sectors. Whether you choose to operate as both a Client Manager and a Recruiter, or prefer to specialize in one area, the choice is entirely yours.

Cons

There's no micromanagement, and you're cultivating your own client base. While you receive internal support, you operate as an independent business owner, so the initial uncertainty is the only downside.

Pros

work from anywhere, perfect work/life balance, plenty of job requisitions so you can work on only jobs that area good fit for you and good support from back office so you can focus on your business.

Cons

Commission only so you have an entrepeuneur attitude and the ability to support yourself financially while you build your business and revenue. Also not a job for someone that is not a very seasoned recruiting professional with the "know-how" of how to recruit passively.

It was pretty decent

Pros

I got placed pretty quickly, the job wasn't super hard and there seemed to be some opportunities for growth. I never got overworked or burnt out so that was cool.

Cons

After major layoffs that got rid of almost all of TEEMA's temps, I tried to get another job through TEEMA but never heard anything back. It was good while it lasted but that wasn't very long and I probably wouldn't use again.

Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback. We fully appreciate your frustration, considering you were laid off from a role that seemed to be a good fit. We always have new opportunities popping up, so we encourage you to periodically check jobs.teemagroup.com for opportunities that may be a better fit than the last one. Again, thank you for the candid feedback, and we hope we can regain your trust to help you land the next step in your career.
