Pros

As much overtime as you want to work available due to short staffing. Healthcare is a step above what is available through ACA.

Cons

Management believes their own line if BS from corporate on down to the local level Google "everything is wonderful Gannett" for a good laugh and then pity those of us currently employed by these million dollar yahoos. Antiquated equipment being kept running with bubble gum and string. Low pay, long hours, total disregard of personal life needs of the line level employees by management and really bad kool-aid. Ken Kesey, where are you?

Pros

- Pay is ok - Benefits are good and cost are decent - Work duties are simple- low volumes, lots of problem solving, and projects

Cons

I was excited to take this job with an all woman team, and to learn from women in leadership roles. The excitement wore off fast. Sadly, the only thing I’ve learned is what NOT to do, who NOT to be, and what reputation NOT to have in the workplace. -Micromanaging is a major issue. Work is unchallenging. Management assigns busy work and mindless projects sometimes unrelated to treasury. - Lack of leadership- Management has little interest in sharing knowledge, mentoring, teaching skills, or developing employees. The focus is on controlling and nitpicking. If you want to learn anything new, you have to figure it out yourself. If you display newly learned knowledge, management will make you feel punished. -Management makes the job miserable. Too much of the days consist of listening to management constantly complain about everything from personal issues to body aches. Draining! - Extreme micromanagement (borderline harassment) makes it so there is no room to grow, be creative, or own your work. Pride in your work is met with retribution. - Management lacks confidence which leads to erratic behavior and an extremely toxic environment where employees keep records, notes, and recordings of interactions with management (class action lawsuit waiting to happen)

Pros

None really to be honest.

Cons

Salary? Low Benefits? Not great Corporate management? Weak and doltish Also not very diverse as you’ll notice the entire board of directors is the same color as a blank sheet of paper. The pandemic benefits were absolute garbage. The company would say “we’re giving you $100 Uber Eats gift card!” but if you checked your paycheck, they took $100 out. So how is that a gift? I’m paying for my own “reward”? Simply tacky.
