      Pros

      Do you want to work for a company that "puts its employees first", is "innovative", and has a "clear vision and company direction". Then don't work here, TEGNA has none of those qualities. You're just another number on a spreadsheet, and if it any point you are no longer beneficial to the corporate bottom line & it's shareholders you will likely be laid off

      Cons

      Very low pay, even lower job security, but hey Dave Lougee might comp you $100 on christmas if he's feeling generous! Don't think I can reiterate enough the extremely poor corporate leadership and strategy. Tried to apply the same business strategy for 5-6 years after the split with Gannett and their solution was layoff after layoff.

      Pros

      Nice building. Shade trees in parking lot. Good location.

      Cons

      Don't value knowledge. So many layoffs, so few people. Poor news coverage with reporters acting as own photogs, too much ipad and iPhone viewer video. Declining ratings are the end result. Sales management and sales reps with no history in market and severe lack of knowledge in broadcast sales. Over promise and underdeliver is how they operate. Badmouthing ex-employees who left because they didn't want to work with people they couldnt trust.
